Louis 57 The Open Champion Syrah
The Syrah is a full-bodied premium red wine, carefully matured in 225-litre French oak barrels. With a combination of oriental spices, pepper, and fruit flavours, this highly concentrated wine is both complex and rich in its aftertaste.
The Boland Cellar Coffee-Style Pinotage delivers layers of dark prune, plum and sweet blueberry flavours with a prominent cedar French oak finish, reminiscent of Mocha Java. Due to the beautiful extraction of Pinotage fruit flavours, the oak was well integrated and delivered a wine with a creamy lingering finish.
An elegant red wine with hints of vanilla and white pepper on the nose. Prominent dark berry fruit, the soft spiciness and almond flavours combine with a touch of savouriness, lingering on the palate with balance and finesse. Pair with venison, beef steak or pork fillet.
This Merlot is a medium-bodied wine with a dark-ruby colour and aromas of red berries and plums. The soft tannins give this fine wine a lingering finish and compliments a wide variety of food such a burgers, pizza, stews, steaks, venison and pasta.
This elegant wine, with its deep ruby colour, shows a light smoky nose with a dash of vanilla and spice. Well-balanced on taste, with fruit-cake complexity and a soft white pepper spiciness carrying through in the lingering, silky aftertaste. Enjoy with spare ribs or venison.
67% Shiraz, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon This is a velvet structured wine with subtle tannins for its youth. A very soft wine on the palate. Full-bodied wine with huge complexity showing black cherries on the nose. Herbaceous character and white pepper support. This wine has been made to last 10-15 years.
